Also, I find it rather intriguing that while we are not allowed to even mention visits to/from partners while living abroad, we are urged to do all kinds of weird poses with them for the photogarphers throughout the wedding, especially on the foolsajjya. It is strange, and hypocritical. But if you protest, you are the bad guy :/. Thankfully, I am out of these social norms, atleast for the time being :DIpsita Royhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05599755465302607108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8156559194416988359.post-80495628844336091512016-03-21T18:28:19.992+05:302016-03-21T18:28:19.992+05:30I don't know if you are lucky to break yoursel...I don't know if you are lucky to break yourself away from this circumstances or not....but these situations are very interesting for observation and study. As long as you are married, I'm just a week older and ahem!! more experienced...the latter because I'm still going through the conversational situations. I notice there is a strange notion that if you wake up late in the morning on the night of your 'foolsojya'- it's like all hell breaks. "Oh my!! shame on you" - I get more questions streaming in at a friend's wedding...when I preferred to chat with the grooms and our common friends rather than sit down with the ladies and chew on what jewelry has come up as appendage to the bride...strange. but culture comes in different packagesAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11750071245638689519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8156559194416988359.post-68832461829067563052016-02-18T01:18:03.865+05:302016-02-18T01:18:03.865+05:30yes, true. and thank you :)yes, true. and thank you :)Ipsita Royhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05599755465302607108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8156559194416988359.post-51649087369072289332016-02-18T01:16:26.476+05:302016-02-18T01:16:26.476+05:30thank you, tobe eta puropuri biased compliment :Dthank you, tobe eta puropuri biased compliment :DIpsita Royhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05599755465302607108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8156559194416988359.post-59684391922033578582016-02-17T23:42:39.121+05:302016-02-17T23:42:39.121+05:30I think this is the problem faced by most educated...I think this is the problem faced by most educated girls who don't just follow any norm blindly. It will take ages for India to accept an independent, self made girl / woman in the so called society. Good luck with your new post marriage experiences. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8156559194416988359.post-66669051714863731832016-02-17T20:22:45.235+05:302016-02-17T20:22:45.235+05:30Even I am accused of not looking married enough!to...Even I am accused of not looking married enough!totally agree with tui and tumi saga!
Saree giveaway on my blog
। ;)অর্ঘ্যnoreply@blogger.com
